It's hard not to follow the money when it's good. I hope it works out for you!

We made a very similar move, for very similar reasons. All I can say is that we have absolutely no regrets. So many issues you deal with as a couple/family are financially-based. We took a chance to wipe those issues off the board, with the cost being moving away from family and friends. We love our life now, and we have the financial flexibility to go on vacations, see family and friends, go out to dinner, etc. it's tough, not going to lie. You have to find babysitters if you and your wife want a date night. No more dropping the kids at grandma's. familiarity is nice. It you hit it on the head: you'll adapt. The kids being in school helps. You meet their friends' families. Good luck man. I hope it works out exactly as you want it to.

Congrats and best of luck to you & the fam, Bergy. You'll be missed. But fear not, your Matt Cooke reference trolls will irritate me just as much from Columbus as they do from St. Paul.
